Wet n Wild (Water fun park) Wet n Wild is owned and managed by Mr Tom Robb and his wife Christina Robb. Originally from Australia the couple was here on holiday last year. Having spent their holiday here in Port Vila they discovered the place to be peaceful, friendly people and lay back they decided to return and live in Vanuatu. The couple also found out that there wasn’t much activity around for kids on holiday so they came up with this idea to have a water fun park.
As well as setting the park they consider price that were affordable both for tourists and Ni Vanuatu kids. As Tom says “We are for everybody.” Business opens daily from 9.30 am through till 4.30 pm. The park is open everyday but on Sundays the management is looking at adjusting the opening hours till later during the day. There is Ni Vanuatu Happy Hour from 3.30 pm till 4.30 pm. Normal prices 1000 VT /hour and VT 2,500 full day tourist market. For Ni Vanuatu kids is ? prices which is VT 5, 00. If there are a lot of kids hanging around the place to watch then the management invite them to help collect rubbish by distributing rubbish bags and which then is sealed with free access to the water park for the kids involved in rubbish picking. Staffing there are 4 Ni Vanuatu employed at the moment but looking at increasing to 8. Activities involves includes floatable boats, floating mountain climbing, trampoline, walk ways and pyramid. Basically the kids just amuse themselves while running, skiing, splashing, and swimming and just have fun. Since the opening on Sunday 28th June 2008 the water park has had great feed back. Tom Robb the manager is liaising with VTOA for membership and hopefully is working on brochures which will place in the hotels around here and the information office here too. As he says it is a walk pass activity and is happy to see kids enjoy themselves on holiday. Water fun park is located at the seafront just behind the stage .
