Heritage status for site where dozens were buried alive |

The largest site of live burials in the Pacific region has been added to Unesco's World Heritage List. The United Nations agency this week added new sites to its list including three in the Pacific - the domain of Chief Roi Mata, Vanuatu's last paramount chief, the New Caledonia lagoon, and the Kuk early agricultural site in Papua New Guinea. |
